You should use HIFX who will provide you with a better rate than an bank. If you want further info pm me your e-mail address and i will give you more info as I have used them
Interesting looking service. I can see how it can be used to send Euros to the German bank in question but I don't see how it would be used to receive them. Does one give one's HiFX account details to the German bank and ask them to lodge the money there?0 -

Thanks for all your replies.
I just did a transfer of 50 000 Euros into Pounds.
I got quotes from 2 money trading websites - one wanted to give me £44017, the other £44244, however, my German bank offered £44375 (but they charge €50 in fees). In the end, the German bank had the best deal, even though I had to pay the fees...
I guess it's important to ask around to get the best deal!
