Do you know if the debt has definitely been sold on to the debt collector? or could they be acting on behalf of the creditor?
If they are acting on behalf then they can continue to charge interest.
If its been sold then if your original credit card agreement said that interest could be added after the debt had been assigned to a third party they can, if it didn't then they should not.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
