another halifax reward question

I have just opened a Halifax Reward account, still waiting for the DDs to be transferred.

I wiil be paying in over £1000 per month but it will be in 4 separate amounts, maximum single deposit is £458, at different times of the month, then £1000 per month will be withdrawn, again at different times of the month.

Do I need to have a balance of £1000 in the account, even for a few minutes, or just the fact that £1000 goes into the account each month is sufficient?

You should be fine with the situation that you describe - as long as £1000 is paid in during a month you will get your reward, you don't have to maintain a deposit of £1000.
