Landlord withholding £100 of Deposit

Hi, wondering if anyone can give me some advice or let me know where I stand.
Me and my partner rented a house for 6 months, we told them we would continue to rent for another 6 months but didnt sign anything. However found out I was pregnant so we needed a bigger place. We gave our months notice at the 6 month end.
We moved out about 2 weeks before our contract ended so that we could make sure the house was in good condition to get our deposit back.
Our contract ends on the 16th April but on the 6th April we were asked if the landlords mum could come and have a look at the property, we said yes but informed that we still had a few bits to move out. When she visited she asked if she was allowed to enter the property as she wanted to emulsion the walls. We said ok to this.
On the 13th april we got a call from the Agent saying the landlord was unhappy that the property was not clean. We had cleaned the property from loft to down stairs but still had the oven and fridge to clean, I informed them that my mum was going to go down on the 14th to make sure the last bits were all clean.
When my mum went down to do the cleaning the landlords mum was already there and had stated that she had done most of the cleaning, However my mum and my nanna had already made sure the bathroom was spotless. My mum also hoovered all the carpets and down the stairs washing the skirting boards also.
It seems that the landlors mum went over what they had done and then decided to wash the walls (no painting had been done).
My mum said to the landlords mum that she had come to clean and that we are still in contract so that its a job for us to be doing, however she said she would do it. My mum stayed to clean the fridge and oven and then left.
We got the last of our items out last night and I text the landlord saying I would drop the keys off today to the agent. He then text me back saying that becuase the house was not clean they are withholding £100 for the cleaning his mum has done.
Ive disputed this as I know my mum cleaned the house but where do we stand on this. I know people have their own level of cleanliness but I know it wasnt dirty.
Also while living there the front window was smashed one night (we are not sure why, but the landlord is a police officer and one of the neighbours mentioned it may have been someone he put away) We paid £80 for the window to be replaced. If they are withholding £100 could we not invoice them for the replacement window.
Sorry this is so long, im sure alot of you think £100 is not that much but we have a baby on the way and need every penny.
Thanks in advance
P.s the Deposit was £595 and its with DPS.

Have you got a check -in inventory and check-ou inventory? if you didn't sign a check-out inventory then I can't see that either of you can prove what condition the property was in at the formal end of the tenancy unless you have photos etc?
What did the check-in inventory say with regards to cleanliness etc?
You might have to take this to the dispute service I'm afraid to resolve.

Get onto the deposit-protection scheme's website and dispute any deduction from your deposit whatsoever. You cannot be made to pay for any cleaning done without your consent and before the end of your tenancy! That was the landlord's choice and not yours.
The broken window should have been reported IN WRITING to the landlord when it happened and their consent gained for you to arrange it yourselves and deduct it from your rent. I suspect that you may not be able to be reimbursed for this now, alas.0
