Royal Mail Online Postage will not work for me

Since UK postage rates increased on 4th April 2011, I have been unable to use the Royal Mail Online Postage system. When I click the Royal Mail "Buy Online [postage] Now" icon, I get an error message "Sorry.. the page that you have requested cannot be found..."

I have seen some comments that the sytem will, allegedly, not work with some browsers e.g. Opera. As I recently upgraded to Internet Explorer 9, I also tried to access the relevant web site using IE8 and IE7 on other PCs. I got nowhere.

The Royal Mial web enquiry people tell me "there is no problem with our system".

Has anyone else had this problem and, perhaps overcome it ?
