    L: Steamed vegetables and red quinoa.
    D: Saag aloo with vegan garlic naan bread

    Sunday

    L: Beans on wholemeal toast
    D: Nut roast, bubble and squeek, roast parsnips, carrot and peas

    Snacks: Fruit, vegetables, bread, houmous, nuts, air popped popcorn.

    Drinks: Water, soya milk, green tea, tea, coffee, diet cola, juice.

    Last week went totally pear shaped.
    It's half term here & i've been swamped by loads of hungry 16yr olds.

    Sunday -- Chicken chasseur & rice
    Monday -- Smoked haddock, new potatoes & peas
    Tuesday -- Ham in cola with new potatoes & peas
    Wednesday -- Ham with chips
    Thursday -- Tagliatelle carbonara
    Friday -- Tandoori chicken wraps
    Saturday -- Chicken curry & rice

    Lunches -- Sandwiches, wraps & salads

    Breakfasts -- Toast & Frosties

    Snacks -- Fruit & HM cakes.
    Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.

    Ok, well mine is still a work in process but this is my thinking so far:D

    Fri - Pizza, Salad, Garlic Bread
    Sat - HM Chicken Balls with S & S Sauce and EFR
    Sun - Roast Dinner
    Mon - Wraps
    Tue - Pasta Cabonara & HM rolls
    Wed - Chicken Kievs, mini roasties, peas & sweetcorn
    Thur - ?

    Thats as far as I gotten so far. Got some apples in the fruit bowl gettin past their best so will chop and make an apple crumble for Sunday. Will also make some muffins, flapjack and jellies to keep my little monsters filled up.

    Pack up style lunches.

    Breakfasts: toast, cereal, fruit, yogs.

    Lunches: Sandwiches, crudites, hummus, h/m pizza, omelettes.

    Sat: Leftover takeaway from girls night
    Sun: Fish pie & peas
    Mon: Spag bol
    Tues: Steak, jacket pots & brocolli
    Wed: Toad in the hole & carrots
    Thurs: Chicken curry & rice
    Fri: Roast lamb & trimmings

    Lovely again to read everyones meal ideas and thanks vixtress for posting recipe links. I shall investigate later.

    Sunday - Roast chicken & smoked pork loin, roasties, butternut squash ratatouille & stuffing
    Mon - Cottage Pie
    Tues - Ham & butternut squash gratin
    Wed - Bean Goulash
    Thurs - Steak & peppercorn sauce with wedges, garlic mushrooms and salad
    Fri - Thai chicken curry with green beans, baby sweetcorn and rice (this will move if the grandsons are eating with us any day this week as it is their favourite)
    Sat - Tandoori chicken salad with BBQ sausages & beefburgers
    Easter Sunday - Roast lamb with a French mustard & rosemary crust,

    Didn't do well last week as far as the eating what was planned. But it's almost another week for me, so.....

    Sunday - Veggie fajitas
    Monday - LO fajitas
    Tuesday - Baked potato with philly & salad
    Wednesday - Something from the kitchen of Mum
    Thursday - Freezer surprise
    Friday - Toast & beans
    Saturday - Baked potato with philly & salad

    Lunches will be pasta with either tuna & pesto, philly & mushrooms & tomatoes, or savoury rice with extra veg

    I've been Money Tipped!
    I forgot to plan this week. Tonight we had squid ink risotto (I have LOADS of squid ink in the cupboard and rarely use it) and salmon. I have made this once before and called it FT salmonrice.

    So much for saying I was going to post every week...bit hit and miss for me but I am menu planning all the time and (more or less) sticking to it...just not getting my A in G and posting on here :rotfl:

    Anyway here goes

    Sunday (only me) Pasta and HM tomato sauce
    Monday Beef stir fry
    Tuesday Peri peri chicken, corn on the cob and jacket potatoes
    Wednesday Chilli con carne and rice
    Thursday Bacon and blue cheese pasta
    Friday Salmon Wellington and new potatoes
    Saturday HM Pizza
    Sunday Pork Belly roast dinner
    Anywhere is within walking distance - if you have the time!!
