Mealplans WB 18 April

It doesn't look like anyone's started next week's meal planning thread yet, so I'll kick things off if that's OK? (BGs, please correct me if I'm looking and not seeing!)

As usual, I've got a firm plan for Friday and Saturday then a choice of meals for the rest of the week: this is working really well for me and I've started sticking to my meal plans again with this method. :j

Friday - takeaway (naughty CCP, I know, but it's a long day for me and I need the promise of a treat at the end of it to keep me going :o)
Saturday - beef paprikash, greens and HM bread [new recipe]
Sunday to Thursday -
creamy crab and courgette pasta (this, but with courgettes instead of peas) [new recipe]
aubergine and blue brie bake
Moroccan aubergine and meatball stew
chicken and ham supreme with rice

chicken and lentil curry with naan bread

What delicious delights is everyone else having? :)
Back after a very long break!

Thanks CCP for getting us started

I've been MIA the last couple of weeks as we have been away, and I haven't had a chance to do my meal plan, am currently in the process of sorting it for the next few weeks, and have the next week sorted anyway...

Su-Roast rib of beef, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage and turnip, red wine gravy. Rhubarb crumble and ice cream for pudding (we are having friends round so I get to make pudding :j-I never make pudding as OH doesn't like it)
Mo-open roast beef sandwiches on sourdough bread with horseradish, salad, bubble and squeak (hopefully will have some LO veg to make it, if not-will be chips LOL)
    Tu-Beef jalfrezi and peas
We-Tilapia green thai curry with rice
    Th-Pasta puttanesca
    Fr-Out for dinner
Sa-Rainbow trout with minted peas, new potatoes and asparagus
    Su-Roast lamb &trimmings.

Looking forward to hearing eveyone elses yummy menus.

Thanks for starting the thread, CCP. :) Here's what chez Kitchenbunny will be dining on this week:

Friday - Chilli con carne with sauteed potatoes
    Saturday - HM pizza
    Sunday - possibly a takeaway
Monday - Spicy Lamb Skewers with salad
    Tuesday - Enchiladas
    Wednesday - Not sure
Thursday - Toad in the Hole
    Friday - Beef Stroganoff
Saturday - BBQ chicken & wedges
Sunday - Roast Pork, Roasties & Trimmings

There'll be plenty of fruit for snacking on, and I'm going to make some flapjacks for a bit of extra oomph at breakfast time (I don't normally eat breakfast - bad me I know - and these will help me stop snacking mid-meal, I think). Lunches are sandwiches or leftovers. Have a good week, everyone.

I didn't do a plan this week as I was away over the weekend and just couldn't motivate myself to do it when I got back! It's helped me use some bits up though, but I do prefer having a plan. So...

    Monday - spaghetti bolognese

Tuesday - going to the cinema, will eat out

Wednesday - maple glazed hotdogs with mustardy onions

Thursday - [STRIKE]garlic chilli chicken with rice[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]pork steak with lemon, honey and mustard apples[/STRIKE] chicken with peppers in chilli sauce with cous cous

Friday - off out with my old work colleagues!

Saturday - [STRIKE]sizzling salmon with bean mash[/STRIKE] pork steak with lemon, honey and mustard apples

Sunday - [STRIKE]cheesy bean burgers with salad (or something to be decided)[/STRIKE] going to my dad's for a BBQ :D

    [STRIKE]
I'm going to the cinema on Tuesday or Wednesday (not yet decided) so one of those days i'll be eating out. [/STRIKE] Now confirmed - we're going on Tuesday.

Changed a bit as have plans at the weekend.
