Roxburghe Debt Collectors

I had a call today from Roxburghe Debt Collection Agency - I clarified I was who I was then he told me who he was and wanted to clarify my address in order that someone would be coming round to recover the amount owed from the alleged private parking fine I received over 12 months ago from CMS. I have followed the advice given on the forum to ignore everything Graham White letters etc.

I am now worried that debt collectors will be coming to my house - can someone advise what I say to them should this happen please?

Thanks
Marina

They won't call around at all because roxburghe don't operate that way, even if they did just tell to sling their hooks, they have no powers like bailiffs, they are just private citizens! The reason why they are saying this is to intimidate you into paying, once again debt collectors are not bailiffs , for a bailiff to turn up they first need to take you to court , win , and then you refuse to pay within 28 days, then they must go back to court to ask to instruct court appointed bailiffs.

Finally Graham White solicitors are roxburghe pretending to be solicitors.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

If anyone turns up at your house then tell then to go away. I'll leave it to you to decide on how colourful the language is. They have NO right to enter your property without a court warrant. These are debt collectors NOT bailiffs. If they refuse or try a fast one then ring the police. In all reality they won't even turn up.

If they ring again put the phone down on them, if they keep on ringing tell them you will report them for harassment then put the phone down on them.

    It's a bluff.

Do you really expect them to drive all the way to your house from Surrey?

As others have said, it's a complete and utter bluff, they can't come and take anything and they know it.
