How long do you get out of your foundation

Just having a conversation with a work colleague, I told her I bought 3 of the Max Factor foundations (3 for 2) at the end of August, I have a small amount left of the last one.

She says hers last longer than that. She claims to have only used one tube, of a collection 2000 foundation since then. (I doubt it from the way she piles it on.....miaow)

Just wondering how long all of yours last.

I use mine just about everyday, unless I have a day in the house!
8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T

I buy Estee Lauder Double Wear, and usually lasts me about 2 months.

I bought one 3 days before christmas and received one as a gift and I'm just about out now :)

I use Clinique Almost Make-Up foundation, and a tube lasts me 8months! I wear it everyday in thin layer, except holidays/days in house

Not sure as it seems to last forever. However I'd say easily at least 6 months. Currently using Estee Lauder.

Me too; Doublewear, and around 6 - 8 weeks. Certainly no longer, and by the end of the bottle, I can tell it's past its best.

I'm using Revlon Colourstay and get at least 5 months from a bottle but then I do add other products to each application depending on how I want to look or how my skin is behaving, I used to use EL DW and would get roughly the same time from the bottle but found the product dried in the bottle when I was near the end. Powder is a different matter, I shift through it and am lucky to get 6 weeks out of it (pressed powder including EL DW) especially if I'm using it with no foundation having said that I'm currently using an old Natural Collection pressed powder with my colourstay, its so light the two products seem to work very well together and I've had the powder for at least a year, not with regular use though:)

  • I use Benefit Playsticks and can normally get about three months out of it wearing it on weekdays. For weekends I have another product called Colour Supplement from Lush which I mix with my moisturiser and have used maybe a fifth of the pot in six months.

About 6 months actual wear. I wear it every day from autumn to spring, but not in the summer, if I buy this time of year it will last from now until I stop wearing it for summer then probably until Christmas before it's all gone.

I use Doublewear too, I can't imagine using so much that it would only last 6-8 weeks:eek:

I've got Bourjois (I think?) Healthy Mix or something. It lasts me about 8 months!

Maybe I'm not using enough but I do wear it every day!

I think I waste more than I use tbf, because of the rubbish bottle, I use a foundation brush to put it on and need to pour it out onto my hand to get the foundation onto something to mop up with the brush, and nearly always, especially when I have a new bottle, far too much comes out :( Although I use it every single day and then sometimes twice, if I'm going out I'll have a shower, take off the days make up and put it on again :o
