Back in the day I used to be able to buy a ticket from Kent To London and you could use the ticket to travel on the tube or buses.

When i check online all they find is the price for the fast train to London which is £28
Or a ticket to Victoria station is nearly £40.

I am trying to get from Canterbury To Oxford Circus in London.
Just want to get there with the cheapest fairs and be able to sue the underground.

Any help or advice would be great.

Assuming you want a day return, the fares are:

off peak day travelcard £28.70 on the slow service

ditto using the High Speed service - £33.70

that gives you a return journey plus unlimited bus tube etc use.

Buy it at the station - no point in buying online

If you can leave Canterbury after 1000 there is a superoffpeak day return on the slow services at £20 - a separate travelcard for the underground, etc will be £6.60 for zones 1/2.

If you want to sue the underground then give these people a phone

If not just follow Dzug's advice above.

Or buy from SE Trains website and get 20% off Off Peak and Super Off Peak fares.
    Until 02 May that is.

So, for example, a Super Off Peak Return from Canterbury to any station in London Zone 1-6 becomes £16.00.

On the SE trains website, choose destination London(All) to see these fares.
