Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me before i ring up Capital One. My Husband is currently off work due to long term sickness and he is currently having his Capital One CC being paid under the insurance cover he took out. AXA insurance made the first 2 payments to our account in March with a third being paid next week However this months online statement shows he has been charged £27 interest on the outstanding balance, I was under the impresssion that interest was frozen when an account was being paid by insurance protection? am i right or wrong?

I don't think it is, unless there's anything in your policy document which specifically states otherwise? There's no blanket rule for all issuer's payment protection cover unfortunately
In any case, I think Capital One pay out something like 10% of balance every month for a PPI claim so it should be comfortably covering the interest amount0
