Toaster recommendations please

Options
My toaster is just over a year old and it now toasts on half each side - so having to turn the toast over to cook the other half. Not very MSE as uses twice the leccy to cook my toast.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a 2 slice toaster? Must have a defrost button as I take out slices of bread from the freezer as and when I need them and a wide enough slot for crumpets and HXBs. Budget is £30.

What they lack in directional ability they make up for in speed, apparently.

We have a cheapo four-slice, which is handy for toasting long things like pitta bread.

Need to replace ours soon, too.

I just toast the bread straight from the freezer, dont bother with defrosting first:)

Bought Kenwood toaster & kettle from Argos for £45 from £110 and they're great.

I'm the same as Dave, I put bread in straight from the freezer and it toasts fine. So I wouldn't worry about the defrost button either.
