Suggestions for a reunion London please

Could anyone suggest a good place for a school reunion please? The ladies involved will all be aged 60  and most of us have not seen each other for decades.

I was thinking the Balcony Room at the Swan at the Globe may be nice - but are there any other places which people have used/attended for such an event - something with nice views and informal dining./buffet. Course, price will also come into the equation :)

Many thanks.

Yes, hadnt thought of afternoon, more of an evening do. But it may be some of us could do that the next day as some will be coming hundreds of miles. Thanks

I went to a reunion at The Maria Assumpta Centre in Kensington Square a few years ago. It has really lovely grounds off the garden room to wander around and chat, if you are planning it for the evening in Summer time. The Centre did the catering. Of course it might not be your cup of tea as it is a Covent school type venue. The nearby Kensington Roof top Gardens (Babylon restuarant) are good -beautiful gardens with flamingos and views over London, but avoid Friday and Saturdays as the Club part will be open.

Thanks Su - it will be a Friday night early september. To celebrate ? the 50th anniversary of when we all started at grammar school.

My son has been to the Kensington Roof top gardens I remember for a media thingy - I dont think it would be right for our lot or the occasion but lovely thought for something else if I get the chance :)

The Maria Assumpta sounds nice though, Ill have a look at that.
