We have just got a new guy working in the company and i have to work quite closely with him on numerous projects. I have just found out he has just come from MBNA where he worked as a manager in a call centre, is it wrong that i want to gouge his eyes out with a very sharp pencil (accidently of course)?????
anyway i hope every one has a productive day and a no spend day
take care

No its not wrong to feel that you want to spoon his eyes out - but have you wondered why he is an ex mbna employee? Did he not agree with what they were doing? Could he be of any help with dealing with mbna in the future?
Just a couple of thoughts😁0 -
I would get to know him and do some very discrete, subtle probing..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Remember, there are two types of accidents: the accidental type and the deliberate type. I would also like to point out that (a) you are innocent until proven guilty and (b) health & safety in the workplace is a minefield anyway.
Good luck0 -

Yes! You could 'accidently' trip over with the pencil and stab it in his eye, and then sue the company because it's their responsibility to ensure you know the correct procedures for walking around with pencils. I kid you not, even if you make a genuine mistake and hurt someone, it'll always come down to your employers as it's their duty to prevent you making those mistakes in the first place. Plus you could sue them for breaching the health and safety act!
See.. the health and safety course I went on was well worth the time..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

He should be ok. Just don't disclose your date of birth or your mothers maiden name. And tell him you are paying as much as you can afford into this years secret santa.0

Have you asked him why he left MBNA??? It would be very immature to stab him in the eye, just the same as it would be if he turned round and went " yeah i seen your account HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"0
