25th Wedding Anniversary

Hi friends
Any ideas what I can get a couple for their 25th wedding anniversary. They are both friends of mine, in their 40s.
I'm short of time this week otherwise I would have made them something. They have invited me out to dinner so I really need to buy them something. It is silver for 25 years right? I thought of a photo frame but that is a bit boring. I would like something that seems expensive but is obviously money saving!

That'll be us this year - & yes, it's silver.
having been married for 25 years they'll have all the "stuff" they want, I would imagine so maybe a bottle of champers or Cava or something like that
Do they garden - maybe a nice tree/shrub for the garden as a celebration of their anniversary & they'll remember you when they look at it?Debts 07/12/2021

Was some my relative's Ruby Wedding last year and didn't have much money for a gift. Got them a nice bottle of red wine, 2 fancy wine glasses with a red design on them and one of those fancy wine stoppers. Arranged them in a box with some shredded paper and looked really nice. Maybe something similar with a silver theme?0

You can get roses called Silver wedding (can get them for Ruby & other anniversaries too), you could always put it in a metal (silvery) pot with a bow.
Alternatively get a plant with silver in the name of the variety e.g. silver bells (just made that up) we got some heathers with ruby in the name for a 40th anniversary once.
I always think that if it shows you've put some thought into the present it doesn't have to cost lots (helps if it looks like it does though!!)0 -
