    Hi everyone

    I'm here :)

Today is a new day. Here it is:
    • Work isn't so bad :)
    • Brisk walking. Running late = more free exercise
    • Not forget to post important things!!!
    • Yoga tonight - paid for a block of classes so it's cheaper - walk there/back and take refillable water bottle
    • Really try to get to yoga early - need to talk to teacher re chiro and have more time to do a bit of stretching etc before class
    • Free cuppa
    • Emailed sis
    • Sent sis link to groupon she might use - and gets me £6 credit ;)
    • OH put money in a/c for groceries
    • Cheapo lunch from cupboard - toasted muffin; OH got leftover curry and cous cous (no sandwich shop trips!) :)
    • Emailed laundry guy - getting picked up tomorrow - this is my major expense atm but really can't see an alternative… ho hum…
    • Tidy round; defo do washing up - don't want to be washing a dishes mountain come the weekend y'see
    • Catch up with the Crimson Petal and the White - my fave book now on bbc/iplayer :T
    • Make hairdressers appt for Saturday - used groupon so only £15 :T (They're trying to talk me into having a colour - really fancy it too… Oh oh…)
    • Smile because tomorrow is Friday and next week is pay-day week and the start of my easter hols :)
    • Nip out at lunch for a bath bomb treat and to see about lunchtime Zumba class in a church in town - find out details.
    • Entered charity raffle - just £1 - for a day's annual leave… I'm feeling lucky!

Right, got a bit of time to respond to things rather then just read now that I'm on my lunchbreak!

Stitchy - Excellent news about your business! Here's hoping lots of orders come your way - the perfect excuse to drop your admin days then ;)

Shezam - I know what you mean about ebay - I have piles of stuff to get rid of...but I just slowly chip away at it now & again when I should just dedicate a weekend to it or something!

NTBY - Have fun tonight, hope you don't get too emotional either!

DNMS - Sorry to hear you're still feeling down, dodgy hugs all round! :grouphug: What did I say about your luck turning around though & then you find a tenner! Things are on the up :D Can you give me some more info on the sun holidays? How do they get it so cheap? Is it just the acommodation or flights included too? Was wondering if I could get a load of us to collect vouchers & make a weekend of my hen do (on the cheap though!)

Angelflower - From yesterday's thread I just wanted to say I'm really sorry about your dog, hope she's ok.

    Afternoon all!

Had a busy day so far - not all pleasant but all necessary.....

    have already...
    • Been for a smear test - charming! Nice nurse though.
    • Been to Trafford Centre and bought a new suit for work from Next - will try it on again later before i decide whether to keep it
    • Resisted buying lunch or snack while shopping although I did do a lap of the food court and forced myself out again! Good for the diet and pocket!
    • Been to Mr A as I never usually get close to one and spent £38:eek: Only went for a look for veggie things that they don't do at Mr T - just need F&V on teh weekend now though
    • Walked the dog twice - once at the park
    • Put £25 petrol in and remembered to use Nectar card
    • Hoovered and dusted downstairs
    • Cleaned kitchen
    • Had a good phone catch up with mum using free calls
    • Stuck to diet so far (just!)
    And I will later...
    • Make tea from stores
    • Refine shopping list for the weekend to the bare minimum
    • Walk dog again
    • Phone gym about free 3 days
    • Maybe do a teeny bit of school work
    • Chase up amazon order - still not come- grrr!
    • Put a wash on and dry overnight on the airer
That's it for today - hope everyone is well!

    Hello :j
I've been rubbish at posting lately!

Hope you feel better soon DNMS :(

Good news hopefully on the business front Stitchy :D

Fairly rubbish day today - up early to catch the silly o'clock train to London, ended up buying at least 2 coffees plus lunch  I could theoretically claim it back from work, but I tend not to. I would need to pay for my food if in the office (usually take my own) so why not out - different if I had to go to a posh restaurant but I am talking Mr T's meal deals here! I work in the public sector and am pleased to have a job tbh.

Not stuck to diet - DD2 informs me she is getting married in 99 days- so I really must try to lose some weight :(

OH's truck had to be MOT'd and serviced  and its tax and insurance are due at the end of the month :eek::eek:

However, on the positive side, I have:

Made HM breakfast and made a big sausage casserole for supper :D

Washing (sort of) dried on line outside - must put on airer to finish off

Sold 2 books on Amazon - must list some more!

I egg contribution from chickens :)

    And tomorrow is Friday :T

And lots of bank hols coming up :j:j:j:j:j

Oh dear, you must need a break! Mind you I found the jury duty exemption letter I was supposed to post weeks ago, woops. I am sure he won't get called up :o

the money saving things I have done today have made me feel ace and one up on the supermarkets....

I was NOT suckered into buying anything I couldn't eat, wash my clothes, hair, body or crockery with nor did I buy anything I didn't NEED!

Oooo the temptation to pick up the things I wanted but it felt brilliant walking out of the place with enough shopping for myself, OH and 2 DD's to last a fortnight for less than £50. I will confess I only bought one value item (bread rolls) I can't drop the snob just yet! I'll start that in May lol.

    Happy saving and changing all.:j
