there isnt a taxi driver that doesnt know where Marton Mere is in Blackpool (take copy of address in case im wrong). Its less than 5 miles south of The Golden Mile. There is also a bus service from the Train Station if your getting their by train. http://www.haven.com/parks/blackpool/marton-mere/faqs/directions.aspx this is from their own website

There is a big sign up when you first go in the site with the companies name and number - it also has their fares. I *think* it was £8, £10 after midnight which we thought was a good price. They also will collect and drop off at your caravan which was helpful as it is a huge site.

No idea on name though sorry!

A thread on Tripadvisor suggests that C Cabs maybe the company you are looking for.
Bus route numbers are also there.

    Telephone number for C Cabs is 01253 29 29 29

The only tourist bus that I am aware of is the City sightseeing bus which runs between July and September from various stops in the town centre.

Local buses can be found using this website http://www.traveline-northwest.co.uk/cms/welcome.xhtml
Due to lots of roads being closed due to roadworks, you will need to take a short walk to Talbot Road to catch most of them.

I have found the buses from Stop T5 for number 61 bus.

How far is the Station to that stop?

I live in blackpool and i have never heard of a bus number 61. You need the number 15 bus which stops on Abingdon St which is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Depending on how many of you there are it could be cheaper to get a taxi.

Just because you live in Blackpool and have never heard of a route 61 bus, does not mean it doesn't exist.

    Here is the timetable.

OK, it only runs on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, which may (or may not) be suitable for the OP, but it does exist.
