cheapest car rental from Birmingham to London Heathrow

I was wondering whether anybody knows where can I get a good deal to hire a car for a day (23 Dec 06) to collect 2 people at London Heathrow airport. We will be travelling from Birmingham.

I have tried National Express coach the cost would be about £85 & trains would be much more expensive & almost twice as much. So I am looking at the possibility of hiring a car for the trip.

Has anybody got some suggestions pleased?
