Hi there
I've currently got a current account and e-savings account with First Direct, however following the introduction of the £10 charge and the fact you get penalised for withdrawing money from the e-savings account (no interest payable in the month) I'm looking to change.
I'm looking to get a current and savings account with one provider and it seems IF looks good on paper. I would be grateful for peoples experiences with IF and also any other suggestions for one a stop provider for a current and savings account (excluding Cahoot as I got rejected for their account for some reason!!)
Many thanks in advance,
Saf

I have been with IF for a few years now, can't say I have had any probs, CS seems OK when I need to call them, interest rates at the moment,(not counting any increase re last months BoE rise) are, Savings:- 4.55 gross. current acc:- 2.75 gross.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

I have my ISA with them so only use them for basic transfers but they've always been as helpful as you can expect from a bank. Their online banking is quite good.0
