Hi all, would appreciate some advice on this from the wise people on here before I phone the local Council. I am working full time, my partner is on long term incapacity benefit. Would we be entitled to claim for Council tax benefit?

It would depend on the wages earned.
Check this calculator and it will advise what you may be entitled to

All depends on what you earn....if your household is anything more than £100 per week, as they law says you need this to live on then, for much more you earn over that will reduce the amount of benefit you get...I am on sick benefit and my partner only earns £16,000 and we weren't entilted to nothing!

Very unlikely but if yu need to budget they may allow you to pay over 12 months instead of 10make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
