cheap holiday in the sun wanted over festive season

I am a single 45yr old guy who would like to jet off to the sun for 7 days somewhere between 22nd Dec and 7th Jan travelling from the northwest.

My budget is very limited at £300 max, this includes spending money.

Has anyone any suggestions?

Christmas sun holidays are peak prices, they book up early and any vacancies hold there price, 300 is somewhat unrealistic for this time of year.

If you could extend your buget the cheapest places could be gambia (banjul) or goa in india, however you will need a visa for goa (added expense)

carribbean is out of the question, canarie islands will be booked up and pricy now, you could perhaps get benidorm all in but the weather will be mild (not winter sun)

i dont mind 'mild'....anything is better than staying here in this glumy winter weather. was thinking of taking my tent as an option....maybe to Portugal or similar.

I think your going to find it hard to get anything else now especially within your budget and remember these wont be there for long,so if you see something you like i would book it asap.

Sloppy Chops............just checked out the transfer site above and my search only came up with taxi prices not a shuttle transfer,,,where did you get that from?

Just double checked and shuttle transfers are still there at £16.Gerona to Lloret de Mar 21st-28th Dec.
Have another try.
