I know this is slightly o/t but I haven't had any paperwork about tax credits this year and am getting very worried reading this! We managed totally on tax credits and my income support, why is the tax credit amount decreasing? Have I been living in a vacuum the last few months and missed something? And what paperworl should I have received by now, I think I have had paperwork mid-end April, returnable by July at the latest in the past?Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

It can take until June to send it out according to HMRC so don't worry about no paperwork yet.
Why is tax credit decreasing? We're broke. :cool:0 -

If you're on IS your tax credits will increase significantly this year (up 255 per child). But you may have to wait till the renewal to get the increase, if for any reason your payments go down phone them and ask them if you can do the renewal to get the higher payments (I'm not sure they'll be able to do this but worth asking if it causes you a problem).0
