Well, I thought of complaining to Southern Electric but maybe Watchdog is a better idea. I have just been reading all the stories from the other thread and it makes interesting reading. Seems I was lucky. I remember now why I spoke to him - he said he wasn't selling anything but wanted to inform me of changes taking place in my area. So that was a blatant lie to start off with - he very definitely was trying to sell me something. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Then if they come back I can say 'Oh yes, I remember your colleague, he was the one I reported to Watchdog!:rotfl:The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Had one knocking on my door today from Southern Electric, his line to me, after I told him I didn't want to go onto a Standard Tarriff, was that all online deals from all companies were to be stopped as from today :rotfl:this information he got from Ofgen this morning. I told him to stop lying, he said he wasn't, I said you are, repeated this about 4 times then he made his excuses and left.0

I can't remember which lekky company knocked on my door, but the knocker tried to convince me to change to his company because 'then all your electricity will come to you direct from the local power station'.
Ho hum, that'll surprise the national grid chaps......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
