thanks all i no it would be easier just to send it to them but it means photoscopys getting it posted, im just a bit mad how i should have to pay for this maybe i should send them the receipts and get them to pay it me back lol, and in the harassment bit i get sent letters off them every week

I know it's a pain but Philips are bailiffs and if you can show you are not the person they atre looking for, they will leave you alone.

I agree with what others have said, it is the cost of a postage stamp. If this is still a pain then why not leave a copy on the door and ask their agent to come and collect it. I would personally pay the price of a 2nd class stamp and have done with it.

Do you not think it was just a bit naughty of them to send a letter warning that they'd kick down the door when they did not even know who currently resides at that address?

Do you believe that such iniquities should go unpunished?

I'm no fan of bailiffs, Culex.

But in this case, the OP just wanted them to go away because she was not the person they were looking for - and demonstrating that was going to be the easiest way for it to happen.

Their first approach was worth complaining about if they did suggest that they could force entry on a first visit - I would agree with that. Complain to bailiff and council - another 2nd class stamp needed.

I really think you should just send the council tax bill or any other proof of address & get it over and done with.

There's clearly a way out here & if you are concerned for your baby's safety, I would get these sent of straight away to get the matter sorted once and for all.

It'll only cost the price of a first class stamp so I think that's nothing to really get mad about if thats all you have to pay to get them off your back!!
