Capital one credit card

Hi there folks,

Just a quick question. I have a credit card with capital one and was looking to pay the balance. I have asked them(maybe rather cheekily), to knock off the charges that have been on the account over the last 6 months, there have been reasons why I put it to the side, and they were rather rude etc and said they couldn't do it.

I was wondering if anyone had either a) A UK based number for them, OR a customer relations number?

Does 'reasons why I put it to the side' mean you didn't pay on time and that's why you were charged? If so I'm not surprised they were rude!

Hi folks,

There has been charges over the last 2 months of £48 due to late payment charges and non payment.

The reason behind it if I am honest is that my mother was ill and ultimately leading to her death. Advised them of this and still the people "abroad" where really rude.

My previous dealings with Capital One were through the Customer Relations Department and they were based in the UK and really helpful. Thats my reasoning behind wanting their number.
If anyone is able to help with that it would be great.
