I have instant access savings accounts with First Direct and Intelligent Finance. Both allow non-residents to receive interest gross. IF have increased their rate since the BoE increased its rates, however FD have not. They are now both around 4.75%.
I'm looking to shift my money elsewhere but there are not many banks who will allow non-residents to register an R105 form for tax-free interest. Offshore accounts appears to have more conditions, ie: minimum balances, lock-in periods.
Has anyone got a good tax-free savings account? Ps. non-tax residents aren't allowed ISA's.

            Hi
 Bradford & Bingley IoM:
 http://www.bbi.co.im/offshore-savings-accounts/offshore-internet-banking/e-access-account.aspx
offer 5.6% gross (no interest is deducted, subject to accepting EUSTD Exchange of Information).
Last I looked, Alliance & Leicester IoM:
 http://www.alil.co.im/default.aspx?bhcp=1
 and the AngloIrish Bank:
 http://www.angloirishbank.co.im/personal-banking/interest-rate-summary.asp
 were a bit lower.
 Hope that helps0
