Selling co.uk domains

Hi All

I would like to sell some co.uk domain names I have registered, but am unsure as to where the best place to list them.

Has anyone experience in selling co.uk domains and can offer some advice.

Thank you

I've got a couple listed on Sedo at the moment, but nothing happening with them.

There's a short summary here of one way:

    http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/sedo/1786-selling-co-uk-domain-name-via-sedo.html

I'd take their price guides with a large pinch of salt though. Trouble is that there are so many variations on a name theme that most people can find themselves a domain name that's not yet been registered, rather than paying much more for one that someone's sitting on.

Yes, think here is the best place, as mentioned above although I don't actually know how you sell / auction a domain

    Anyway .. Good Luck !

I've sold a couple of domains through Ebay before, after they sat on Sedo for months without movement. Got a reasonable price for them, but they were decent domains.

On Sedo, you have to provide a price for your site. Once you have a bid, you can then place it into an auction. No bids, then no auction and you won't really have that many visitors unless it's a premium domain.

BTW, is it only people from NI who actually sell domains? That's 3 of us in a fairly specific thread and we appear to be the only ones actually selling. :D

Acorn is a good place to start but you have to remember that really the only people on that site are people in the domain business - so you may not get as much as if you were to sell the domain direct to an end user (like a site owner).

I've never had a decent offer from a listing on Sedo (and make sure you check their fees).

Can you list the names here?

BTW, I'm not from NI ;)
