just been , its a massive con . all drinks buy 2 get third free but that discount does not apply so it worked out dearer on three bottles of champers , the staff were great and put them through the tills to work it out and rang people but agreaded it was a con damm and blast .....im going tee total0

Hello, sorry to seem rude but the 40% DOES still work out cheaper as 3 for 2 works out at 33% off so you are still saving. So if Champagne is £25.00 per bottle it would cost £50 on the 3 for 2. On the 40% off it would be 3 x£25.00 less 40% = £45.00. You have saved yourself another fiver!:beer:0

Hello all
I heard something today at work that this voucher was only supposed to be meant for "suppliers and friends" but apparently over 800 000 people have downloaded it so far...!
Threshers are apparently "slightly concerned" - see web link to the BBC website where the story is too....

(hope that link works!)
Do you think they might stop the offer soon if it gets too popular?

Hi,
I agree that even with 40% off at threshers,it still seems a better deal buying from tesco.com using a money off code or extra points. Just my opinion.
Helen xlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
I heard about this on the news yesterday and apparently Threshers have said that they will definitely honour every voucher.0

I think that this could be a clever ploy by Threshers; as has been mentioned they already offer 33% off so this increase to 40% is nice but not a great amount. Knowing how everyone loves a bargin they might be rubbing their hands in glee with all the interest and probable significant increase in sales. Lose 7% profit per sale but increas sales by rather more than that. Overll they win..........................."Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed." Booker T. Washington
