Egg Card/Barclaycard

Hi,
I have an Egg Credit Card 0% BT to end soon, as Barclaycard are buying Egg, can I still apply for Barclaycard?

I applied for a Barclaycard about a month or so ago and I have an Egg card already, I was accepted with no problems. I'd apply and see what happens!

Barclaycard aren't buying Egg. They're buying Egg's Credit card portfolio. (Egg will continue with it's other products)

In my experience, account data from sales like this takes time to move across and so If you apply right now, I would say there's little chance of Barclays understanding that you already have an Egg card and so are highly likely to treat you as a new 'unknown' customer still.

What happens when your Egg card data is transferred across to Barclays completely I don't know . . . whether they'll want you to close 1 of the 2 cards or merge them somehow I'm not sure . . .
