Why do MOD files play slowly ?

I've put some MOD files onto a disk from my JVC camcorder and have tried to view them on my pc with Windows media player.
The quality of picture is ok but the sound is lost and it plays slowly.
Ive tried the same disk in another pc and it works fine...my pc is better spec than the other one.....I think :think:
I hooked up the camcorder to my usb port to try and again it viewed slow

any ideas ?

also, nero 6 wont burn MOD files to DVD ...hows it done ???
