Light bulbs

I'm sick to the back teeth of bleeding light bulbs man, when I'm working I leave in the dark and get home in the dark so often when a light bulb needs replacing it takes me forever to replace because I forget etc

I'm now out of work so can go get them at any time but jesus christ they are annoying, in the room I'm in now a light bulb has just gone, it's not even used often and I only got it towards the end of January.

It's one of them spotlight types, are they renowned for short life?

I'm supposed to have six in but I can't see the point, any ideas on long life for these types of bulbs?

Halers evoLED (complete fitting) but expensive. I have done the sums and even though they are expensive we are getting them fitted to the new build. You can buy after market LED bulbs which should do the job. There is another thread on here about LED bulbs.

Are they the screw in type of old spot lights? If so you need to make sure that they screw in pretty tight, otherwise they can arc and cause the bulb to blow.
Also buy good quality bulbs from an electrical shop as this will make a difference. Buy a few at a time so you have some spares, eh?

I used to have a lot of problems too until i swapped over to LED lighting. The natural lighting in my house is very limited so i have to keep bubs running all the time!

I managed to get all my LEDs from the same place and they offered me a deal because of the quantity i was buying. So far so good!
