I have just discovered that Sippdeal have updated their website and from today they are now offering ISA account and dealing account options in addition to their existing SIPP account. All three have the same £9.95 dealing charge which makes them better for buying shares, ETFs and investment trusts than unit trusts.

Thanks for the info, I will add it to my low cost S&S ISA thread.
Does anybody on here have any experience dealing with SIPPdeal?

I've never heard of them, but it seems you can also buy international shares with them, at only £9.95, which is the cheapest out there I believe.0

Had a SIPP with them since 2006, no complaints at all. Very reliable and cheap!0 -
I've read elsewhere that Vanguard funds are now available in Sippdeal's SIPP (http://boards.fool.co.uk/vanguard-and-sippdeal-12169465.aspx).
Does anyone know if they're also available in the Sippdeal ISA? They are not listed in the current fund list (http://www.sippdeal.co.uk/Resources/Content/PDF/SD_Funds_list.pdf).0 -

Yeah - I've been using them since they first started online in 2001 and been very pleased with the service and costs.0 -
I'd steer clear until they sort out their issues in this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3078080
but I think there tied to TD Waterhouse so may change platform in the long term.0 -
I have used SippDeal for last 12 months. Only traded shares. Found them very helpful.
Was unable to trade an AIM co a few months back....phoned them up....they took the order....called me back at work an hour later to confim deal done.......did the trade over the phone.....still only charged me the online dealing price.0 -

Sippdeal operate their own platform and are not tied to T D Waterhouse or any one else.0 -

Since February, trading account notification emails sent by sippdeal come from a domain name owned by T D Waterhouse Corporate Services so apparently they are.
AJ Bell are also recruiting staff heavily so are expecting big business or are trying to fill gaps.0 -

I see on their charges page:If you invest in funds (other than those included in our funds list) and/or structured products £12.50 per quarter
Can anyone tell me what that refers to, and whether it would affect purchase of Vanguard trackers?
Thanks
I contacted Sippdeal regarding the above queries as I am considering the same. Here is the question I asked:
Please can you tell me if the following funds can be invested in the Sippdeal SIPP and also in the new ISA:
1) Vanguard Investments UK Ltd FTSE UK Equity Index (VVUKEQ)
2) Vanguard Investments UK Ltd FTSE UK Equity Income Index Fund (VVUEIN)
3) Vanguard Investments UK Ltd FTSE Developed World ex-UK Equity Index Fund (VVDVWE)
4) Vanguard Investments UK Ltd FTSE Developed Europe ex-UK Equity Index UK (VVDEEU)
5) Vanguard Investments UK Ltd US Equity Index (VVUSEI)
If so, what are the charges for holding these funds (initial, annual) and is there a minimum investment?
Kind regards,
ggg
Here is their response:
Dear ggg
Thank you for your enquiry.
Yes, the 5 Vanguard funds can be held in the Sippdeal SIPP and ISA.
The quarterly £12.50 custody charge would apply if any of these funds were in your portfolio.
The minimum investments are £1,000.00
There are no initial charges.
the AMCs are as follows:
VVUKEQ 0.15%
VVUEIN 0.25%
VVDVWE 0.30%
VVDEEU 0.25%
VVUSEI 0.20%
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
Yours sincerely

I have asked for confirmation on how the custody charge works, e.g. is it £12.50 per quarter per fund or one charge of £12.50 per quarter across all applicable funds. I'll post the response when they reply.
I'm assuming that if you have both the SIPP and ISA, then you would pay one custody charge in each account where you have invested in these funds.
Hope this helps.0
