Where to buy a Cheap Kitchen?

Thinking about getting either a cheap kitchen possibly under £1,000 or buying some cheap base units and wall units to spruce up my Utility Room.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a cheap kitchen?

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy cheap kitchen base units online?

Thanks in advance :)

Ikea don't have the best kitchens - they have cheap kitchens. ;)

Some might even go as far to say 'poor quality' kitchens but I wouldn't give an opinion myself.

Well they have cheap and have expensive, they are very good quality for the money. If you have £1000 then ikea is the best place and price.

Ikea looks brilliant, thankyou all. Kitchen cabinets for the utility room look good too. Anywhere else, just to compare? Had a look at Wickes who seem OK too.

Do Ikea Cabinets still not have service gap at the back? Make installing them a lot more expensive

Correct, there is no service gap, all services either need to be cut into the back of the cabinet or run at leg level. Ours went into a new extension so all services were run under floor.

Just completed an Ikea install and my fitter commented on how impressed he was with the quality of the kitchen (he had just come from fitting a Wickes and a Howdens Kitchen). All the Ikea cabinets are the same, its just the doors that are different prices.

I am very happy with the Ikea kitchen and am glad I didn't get dragged into spending over twice as much on a different brand. After all, unless you pay for a solid wood kitchen they are all overpriced bits of chipboard when it comes down to it...
