Pay off credit card or mortgage?

Hi,
Please can someone with financial understanding about interest rates help me?
I have recieved a "goodwill" payout from Halifax due to their muck up about the cap on their SVR. I have received £1900. They have automatically taken it off my mortgage, but I know I could have the cash if I wanted to.
Now, I have just over £2k on a credit card, which is on a 0% balance transfer until next January. I am trying to save up the money to pay it off then, but I have already bumped it once because I haven't managed to do this (although it was originally £4k, so i have paid off some of it).
So, do I take the cash and pay off my credit card, or do I leave it to go against my mortgage? I don't know how to work out which one would make more financial sense. :o
Thank you

You want to pay off which ever has the highest interest rate, this will almost certainly be the credit card (once the 0% deal runs out). Ideally you should you should see if you can leave it paid on your mortgage, and then withdraw and pay off the credit card when the interest free period expires.
