When is redundancy paid ..

I hope this doesn't sound a daft question but I am a bit confused and it doesn't take much

If I am made redundant on May 14 but my regular pay date would be 19th May, when will I expect to get paid ?

Will I get my redundancy and final salary as seperate payments ?

No - it will be part of final payslip, one combined payment.

When I have been made redundant I have been always given a cheque on my last day. You should be entitled to your notice money, plus any holiday owing, plus your redundancy payment - all are tax free except the holiday pay.

Yes, your redundancy - tax free, will be paid with your final payslip.

I got my final consultation notice and I will get my redundancy in my final salary ... which for me will be May 19th.

Ask when you will be paid at your consultation

I have just recieved a letter saying that my redundancy payment will be paid 2 weeks after I leave.
