Been given a Navman PS1022. What actually does it do?

My Sister has been given this device. What actually is it? Can she plug it into her Wireless connection at home?

Yeah - it's a Pocket PC based satnav. I borrowed one of about the same vintage (2003/2004) and it wasn't great. The PDA functions are OK, but obviously old now. You can sync it with MS programs such as Outlook if you use an older version of Windows.

The GPS side is probably going to be poor, as I'm fairly sure it pre-dates the SIRF III chipset generation and later which drastically improved reception.

And the battery life is likely to be close to zero now, as IIRC it's not designed to be replaced by the user.
