Hi guys & gals
posting on here for my wife
she is returning to uni this year to do bio medicine for 3 years the transferring to denisitry for a further 4 yrs
she has an appointment with student finance after easter but we wanted to know what sort of help she may be able to get IE
student loan
grants
childcare help
best bank account for students
things like that basically
all web site you can point us in the direction of would be great

Bank account wise no idea yet, banks haven't released any offers yet, and overdraft wise completely dependant on your wife.
If she is going to uni this year she should really have applied by now.

And remember, if it's just you and your wife living in a place, you can get 25% discount on your Council Tax as a single person (your wife wouldn't count as a full time student).0 -

was a few yrs ago when she was 18 now 30 she has a degree in art and is due to complete an access to dentistry in the next few weeks:beer: LOVE LIFE PROCEED & PROGRESS0 -

OK that's fine. You are entitled a year's "extra" finance for things like dropping out, but it's only 1 extra year. So if your partner should repeat a year, she would not get finance for that year (tuition loan and grants, but can get maintenance).0
