    The yeast dispenser is a gimmick, when I researched my purchase (must be 4 or 5 years ago) noticed that the Pannies sold in the US had a yeast dispenser. No new technology, just a way to get you to spend money on a new one thinking you got improved performance.

    Disappointing. The Pannie is absolutely great, not sure why they think they need gimmicks...

    I would go for the model without the yeast dispenser, slightly older but cheaper!

    I don't care about the yeast dispenser but am probably going to get the new model anyway.

    Reason? Stainless steel!

    No, I'm not going for the looks but I'm hoping it will be a bit sturdier. I saw one of the older models in Currys and the plastic looked really cheap and a bit near the top was broken off. I think it's worth to pay £20 extra to make sure nothing breaks off.
