Help with Norton

Options
Hi can anyone help me
I have norton installed on my computer and its worked fine for months.

Today when I try to sign into ebay or paypal Norton blocks the page and says that the Certificate of protection is invalid. However it isnt - how do I stop this?

I have checked for updates on norton and downloaded them and restarted computer.

I have run full system scan - no problems found.

I have even run full scan with systamtec - no problems found

any help most appreciated

Thanks Vicky

  • How do you know it's not invalid? Make sure you're not signing into a phishing site.

Go to https://www.windowsupdate.com and get all recommended updates.
  • According to Norton support:

Message: "There is a problem with this website's security certificate"
In this case you can ignore this message. Click Continue to this Website (not recommended), and continue on with what you were doing.
