You should definitely get CTC on that income, probably a little WTC too. Is it just your WTC that has stopped?

sorry i don't understand the tax side of things

so i only get ca , cb son gets dla and ctc

not even thought about claiming hb or ct

starting to fall in arrears with bills glad i got to go to cab next week

You're on the borderline for getting WTC, unless your partner himself is disabled then he won't get WTC on income over 17785 a year assuming he works 30+ hours (or 15859 if 16-30 hours).

Your CTC might be based on last years rates, if so you'll get a rise when they do the renewal.

Have a look at the turn2us calculator for HB/CTB

I'll get the violins out, you wouldnt even get ESA with a blood clot in the neck because it dosnt stop you working and I should know because my husband is very ill yet he was found fit for work not long after his stroke which left him with a huge blood clot in the brain (as well as kidney failure a breath from dialysis, heart problems and his endocrine system failing)

sorry to hear that about your hubby.
  • i wasnt looking for heart or flowers or even violins

if the clot went to my brain i wouldnt be here just cause i dont have a physical illness dont mean to say i dont have a illness infact i have lupus and yes i might not work but i am care for my disabled son and mother

i am on 15 mg of warfarin per day for the rest of my life i was just given back ground information so people can give me some advice

i know there are worse people out there than myself with far worse conditions

and if it look like i am looking for sympathy then then you are sadly mistaken

i was just given as much information as possiable so that people could give me advice ...which they have
  • and yes sorry to hear about your husband

Sorry if I misinterpreted you posting about your clot, we get so many people with minor health problems claiming to be at death's door on this forum I may becoming a bit desensentised and so when I read you OP I replied as above.

Please accept my apologies for me being so curt.
  • thanks apologies excepted

sorry for going off on my rant x
