seems to be a lot of new people struggling to sell unless they drop the prices dreastically, and in the same thread we have a lot of new people making their very long first posts, how they have been struggling to sell unless they dropped the prices drastically.....

Neighbours house had offer of 150k 5 months before, so I can kind of see why the Agent might have gone that high, however we wanted to go lower (actually said a figure which was significantly lower than he recommended), but he said... and I quote "I could sell it tomorrow for that price, you would be doing yourself out of money selling it for that".
Stupidly we were gullible and got sucked into the patter.Should have looked into online reviews of them, because since our dealings with them we have seen negative reviews about them online. I guess if we had put it on for 130 in the first place and had an offer in 3 days we would have cursed ourselves for not trying to get a bit more. All experience I guess.

I think dropping to an asking price of £115k may be about the right level.
If the end value of your house drops then so does the value of the house further up the ladder (in theory).Generation Rent0
