Took advice from moneysavingsexpert re finding out my credit worthiness
and not paying anything for a month.
Well they have rumbled us chaps and £14.99 was taken from my account within the first 3working days. I joined creditexpert last Thursday or Friday and made a note to myself to cancel just before Easter but lo and behold the first payment went today Monday
So, am afraid it aint free any more Martin !!!!

If it stated that the first month was free then just ring and ask for it back.
My free month ended on a weekend, and they had already charged me just befor ethe month was out, but when I rang on the Monday, they still cancelled it and refunded me.
I always take screen shots and / or print pdf versions of every page whenever I apply for financial products so that I have proof of what I have agreed to.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

I would advise people to get £2 statutory reports, to avoid all this hassle. It's much easier.0
