Do you know what this plant is called?
As the title says do you know what it is called? Various suggestions have been made from a weed to a member of the tulip family, have had a look on the internet but not found anything like it, we have lived in the house over 7 years and it grows back year after year.

they are beautiful aren't they! I planted a group of bulbs but only one has come up. Apparently lily beetles can find them attractive, so something to watch out for.0

We have got a patch of these in our garden and a gardener told us they can be very picky plants and are quite fussy about where they grow-so we are very lucky to have them. They are just so pretty, we have some that are nearly all cream too, very attractive indeed.0

I love them & have them all over the place - in fact I'm looking at some just now in my window box.

I have these too, they're really lovely.
We moved in to our house in December so everything that is growing is a really nice surprise!“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”
