Cheap Xbox games at woolworths (merged)

I had the same last Sat only to go back in Monday and see the case still displayed. Took it to till....back in stock! They were unpacking a box of games while I was there.biglugs wrote:My poor son queued for 10 minutes in the Milton Keynes Woolies on Saturday only to be told the Xbox game wasn't in stock. They really are donkeys sometimes.
Recommend anyone to go back in over the next week to see if they take more deliveries.0 -
Just got the last DVD remote from local Woolies, also got:
- finding Nemo - £2.50;
- Harry Potter & Goblet of Fire - £4 (despite being marked at £7.99);
- Godfather - £10 (despite price tag of £19 on it).
The shop assistant was really helpful, and quite happily went through the drawer as I was looking mostly for 3+ games for my son.
Don't let the price tag on the display case put you off, it seems that they usually come up at a lower price at the till.
Hope this helps someone.0 -
can anyone else tell me what games and at what prices they have got... My local is not at all helpfull and wont pricecheck unless I want to buy. I already got the DVD remote and a few games but they seem to hav banned me from getting a price check because I made them scan in 5 games and only took 20

Was the DVD remote kit priced @ £19.99 and went through at £5 ?
Every Woolworths I've been to is stickered at £19.99 and didn't want to wait in a line behind thirty other people for a price check.
:rolleyes2

It doesn't mean they'll be in stock though as my local store had 3 remote boxes on display all with the £19.99 label but after queueing found they had none actually in stock:mad:0

My Dvd remote was also priced at £19.99 but scanned at £5. If you call up the store they should be able to scan and confirm for you - quicker than waiting in a queue! They'll also put it by for you - at least they did for me.
