employed some cowboy builders - don't know how to put right

We had a new bathroom suite fitted 3 years ago - 1 year later water was coming through kitchen ceiling, toilet was leaking and probably had been since it was fitted. There's now a huge crack in kitchen ceiling.

Had the leak fixed two years ago, no further damage - would it be safe to now employ a plasterer to rectify?

Had new upvc, fascias, soffits, guttering last summer. Already there is a crack in the fascia where water is seeping out onto the patio below. Directly above this there is a leak in the guttering, leak at the joint - again leaking onto the patio. How to resolve?

How does a crack in fascia cause a leak in the guttering?
For a leaking guttering joint, you need to replace the gasket.

I wasn't suggestng it does. They are two separate issues in my mind, the crack in the upvc fascia and the leak in the guttering
