    Agreed, it is obvious that the indebted West sees inflation as a way of reducing the debt in real terms over time, so are quite happy to see inflation. The CPI/RPI change is just another way of massaging the figures.

    Otherwise the BOE would be having its own cutbacks in top policy makers by now.
