NTL / Telewest 'modems' do they all support ethernet?

Folks :-
A friend of mine in Liverpool is looking to get broadband from (what was) Telewest. She already has a telephone connection from them but does not want TV / set top box, so I guess she'd be supplied with a standalone modem / adaptor.
However she needs to connect via an ethernet connection (the software she's using is not keen about USB adaptors.) Do all adaptors supplied by NTL / Telewest support ethernet connectivity? I can't find any clues on the website.
Thanks
Kevin

All the ones I've come across have a choice of USB or Ethernet connection.
To be 100% sure you will have to ring NTL. But it would surprise me if Ethernet wasn't an included connection.0 -
my dads has both and is fairly new, i've never seen any that just have USB connectors and I cant think that they would issue them, as you wouldnt be able to use a router or anything with it.0

If she chooses to have cable BB added she should get it for a reduced monthly fee if she already has a service with Telewest.
( we pay £25 per m + the phoneline rental).
BTW...If a phone line is supplied, there is now the offer of free basic cable tv included in the monthly charge. see: http://www.telewest.co.uk/websales/product.do?id=11169
Why not take it up next time they're doing a free install offer or if they install the BB?
This free tv with phoneline was available when we first signed up a few years ago for the phone, tv and BB, then as they added new channels they started charging £5.50 per m for the basic tv package. Now they've gone back to the original idea...because of Freeview I presume.
I 'downgraded' to the free tv package as we can now get Freeview too. The only difference is that the cable has Sky One which is absolutely necessary IMO for watching 24. Plus we obviously still have our BB internet
