Which Halifax accounts qualify as investment accounts? Does the Reward Current account qualify? I'm guessing not, but I figured I'd check.

Click the word "Investments" on the Halifax website. Anything in there is an investment.
A Reward current account is a current account, not an investment.0 -
The reward account is a current account. An investment account is classed as savings.0

Not quite the case. The reward account is a current account. An investment account is classed as savings.
An investment is typically something sold via a financial adviser, or bought direct, such as a stocks and shares ISA.
A savings account is basically a cash deposit which would be covered by the FSCS Deposit Protection scheme.
The Reward Current Account is ... a current account (also covered by the FSCS Deposit Protection scheme).0 -
Are you asking this in regard to them stopping access on line?I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0
