Argh - dd2 emerged from her room and immediately launched into an attack on dd3 about what she'd decided to keep after her mammoth tidy and clear out! Not best pleased with her! Went to their room to see what was causing the fuss and gave dd3 a quick hand, took 5 mins to put it all neatly. Meanwhile noticed dd2's wash pile contained a whole load of stuff I'd washed a couple of days ago - apparently it still smelled - I really really don't think so, she was just too lazy to put it away and couldn't remember what was clean! Told her I'd put one lot of her stuff on to wash that was in the kitchen, and she should hang it on the line as that would make everything smell lovely (and save my electricity bill lol!), she just looked blankly at me and said "what, I wasn't listening" - had had enough by then and told her to get a grip! She flounced off for a shower in a strop! Think that being grounded with no phone or computer as a punishment is now taking effect, made little difference when she was seeing everyone at school each day, but boy are we all suffering now!

On the bright side, all hoovering, tidying, pots, clearing now done - just the sofas to go!!! ds has organised a lift for himself, so that is helpful. I'm going to take dd3 off for a swim in a bit, so will leave dd1 with the task of binning stuff under the so! dd2 has been told to stay in her room!

CG - glad you're going to get to see Boo :)

    Afternoon All
Slow day for me, DD went for her induction day today at 9.30 so I didn't get showered and dressed till after she had gone. A friend called for coffee and a catch up which was nice.

WM on its second load (how do the 2 of us make so much washing?) and will put the bathroom mats in after. I have put the towels on the line but they may get a few rinses with the showers we are having, it's very windy but cold too and the sunshine is in between the showers.

Cauli & broccoli bake for tea, apart from that nothing else planned.

Hope you are all well and enjoy your days out. Take care. XX

    Landy is sold :T

DC3 is still very ill, poor love. He's been sick because he is coughing so much and his temperature keeps going up and down. He spent an hour in a steamy bathroom which has helped a little. Think I will do scrambled eggs for lunch, should slip nicely down little sore throats.

They thought I might have but the pain is in the outside of my hips i.e the side I'm laying on at the time. Will ask the obs again today what he thinks but from what I gather there's not a great deal they can do about it. And in regards to my knickers - if I'd been able to get them on in the first place I'd not be in this situation anyhow :rotfl:

My poor friend is having her 3rd baby has is now on crutches with SPD! They did want her to have a wheelchair but with two young kids it was never going to happen!

Afternoon, been rushing round like a mad thing this morning.
Took H and his scooter across town to garage to hopefully get fixed. Again.
Then went up Mr T, bread flour is back up to full price :( so then had to pop to Lidl to stock up on their bread flour. My neighbour was going so hitched a ride saving petrol :D

Might take the kids to the woods so DS can show H where he does Forest Schools. No idea what's for tea been too busy to think straight :o

A lot cooler here but sun is out now and again so H hung the washing up. Enjoyed Limitless last night, H wants to go and see Fast and Furious 5 next.........

Sorry speed read the thread :o Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good afternoon OS or not.

    Evening all

Kinda crappy day at work :(. Normally when you form a 'team' it goes through stages, forming storming norming etc. Normally the storming (arguing) stage happens around week 4 or 5 of my programme, but this group just seemed to skip that stage....until today...which is week 10 of 12. Way to late for them to start being arguementative with each other. We had 3 storm off at separate times, one caused arguements all morning, and 1 who disappeared after lunch and they all kept making nasty comments .

We had planned a fun afternoon at our cabin and the beach to celebrate one of their birthdays, and to be honest I didn't want to take them cos they were being so mean to each other and so grumpy. So I sat them down after lunch and bollocked them, told them to grow up and sort their issues out like grown ups and said I wasn't taking them out cos they didn't deserve it, then left them alone for 10mins. 5mins later they called me in and apologised and said they wanted to go out if I would still take them. So we went out and actually had an enjoyable afternoon in our cabin and playing 'hide and seek' in the sand dunes :). They were all in a much better mood by the end of the day.

Sadly being stressed brings on my vertigo so I spent all afternoon feeling sick and dizzy :(, but I made them feel guilty for making me feel stressed :o :rotfl:. Being on the beach made me feel better. me and my colleague screamed into the wind! :rotfl:

    Enough ranting.

I'm exhausted now but need to do uni work so will try and do that in a couple hours then chill out. Dinner will be something quick from freezer.

    No OS here sorry :o

    Have a good evening all
