They needed a way to help us all eat drink and be merry as well as helping us to wash up afterwards in these dificult times. However they could not be seen to be Pro or Anti Royal or to discriminate against anti royalists. This is Tesco's way of saying "Congratulations will and Kate" and of helping us enjoy (or otherwise) the Royal Wedding Of the Milenium (so far). I say thank you Tesco. Every little helps (just like the Winni The Pooh Stages Toothbrush helps our tiny children maintain oral hygiene after these huge street parties.
At least that's what I was told in a Taxi by the CEO of Tesco.

No probs, there was still plenty of meat ones left (ohs fave!) and I'm actually pretty stick of pizzas now - although it didn't stop me buying 8 boxes of chicago towns in bangor today!
They are pretty laid back (touch wood) in bangor, I've given up showing receipts now as it only seems to confuse them. Might bump into you in the freezer aisle in bangor or caernarfon sometime0 -

One of our many Yorkshire'isms I reckon
I talk to friends who live only 50 miles away and they don't know what I'm on about when I mention ginnels, chelping, mardy, lite (pronounced as in elite meaning great) and other such words - like I'm from a different country!
"Chelp" - only heard that from people in Yorkshire:D

Remember Happy Eggs come from UNhappy chickens - http://www.fwi.co.uk/Articles/2010/10/11/123914/RSPCA-hits-back-at-Viva-Happy-Eggs-39expos23339.htm
I am SO glad you have picked this up
I keep my own chickens and I think it is disgusting that they are allowed to pretend that these eggs come from happy, contented chickens that ride around on the back of tractors all day long ..purleeeze!! :mad:DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
for those that notice the offers starting should try and notice the offers ending also.. always good when new products go back up to full prices0
